// Young Alumni Giving Back to Their Community
We are proud to be Dons.
The Dorsey High Class of 2005 Reunion Inc.’s sole charitable purpose is to reunite Susan Miller Dorsey High Alumni, pool our resources, and provide college preparatory services, mentorship, and scholarship aid to disadvantaged students of our alma mater.
We believe higher education and leadership empowerment will break cycles of poverty, inner-city violence, and mass incarceration rates. We are pleased to name our inaugural college scholarship in honor of our late college counselor, mentor, and friend Ms. April M. McNeel who was an advocate for inner-city students. Her commitment to serving historically disadvantaged students over the last 20 years has left an indelible impression on many, including the founding members of the Dorsey High Class of 2005 Reunion Inc.
Although she may not physically be with us, Ms. McNeel's legacy continues to thrive through the students’ lives she positively affected.
The Dorsey High Class of 2005 Reunion Inc. is a recognized 501(c)(3) charitable and nonpartisan organization.
